Wow, the colors on that Demon work great, He actually looks like a Lava Demon; his texture is pretty spot on, usually magma is a hard texture to pull off but you seem to have it down. You ever heard of a game called "Infinity Blade?" It kind of reminds me of that; getting ready to fight a "Daeril." You've improved a lot, keep it coming.

TrojanMan87 responds:

Thank you. I have heard and seen a few adds for infinity blade though I have never played it I loved the concept art and the cool monster images.

That's crazy dude, the story was intense, really draws out the picture in a more meaningful way. Although depressing, great job, you're improving.

TrojanMan87 responds:

Thanks. :)

That's pretty good man, I love the environment, and how you can see that that monster is about to be in a world of pain. Congratulations on getting back into the portal by the way.

TrojanMan87 responds:

Thanks.

This one is probably my favorite of all of your work. I don't know what it is, I think it's the simplicity of the character and his design. I just love the little things like the branch and noose, the sword, his clothes, the texture of his skin, his gaping mouth. Everything here fits together so perfectly. (I don't mean to sound like a kiss ass around this point) The story completes this, truly brings the this character to life (back to life). It's a great concept. Something I'd expect to see in World of Warcraft. Keep up the good work.

EastWestMan responds:

Thanks, man! Yea, I've been using some WoW techniques in my art recently, so that'd be it in there, but thanks dude!

Holy crap, this takes me back, I would play the shit out of Wind Waker. One of my favorites of the Zelda series. I can tell it's not accurate but I think it's pretty badass and pretty close too. I like it. I just started looking at some of your other works too and I love them and your stories. But you ever thought about using Photoshop to paint your drawings? I think you would make a great concept artist. Like no joke you keep this up and make your art go digital and keep improving, I think you should be a concept artist for Blizzard's games, Dota, or other video games. I think you would make some badass characters. Keep up the good work man :D

EastWestMan responds:

Thanks, bro, what a compliment!

The Demon looks a lot more cooler.

TrojanMan87 responds:

Thanks

Hey that looks kinda cool. I just like the environment with the small guy surrounded by this "hellish" place and that giant demon I'm guessing. I like the demon but the face doesn't seem so terrifying to my though. Head seems a bit small and I would love to see some terrifying teeth on that bastard. He almost looks like a turtle with human teeth haha. Overall I like it.

TrojanMan87 responds:

Lol yeah didn't bother going into the horrific look though I will probably go back to it and try to make a fer changes. Not sure when ill do it but im sure I will

I agree with tryggur, try experimenting with different techniques and try creating your own effects and brushes, there are infinite possibilities with what you can do. Like I said just experiment you'll find something that goes with your style and makes your art unique.

But other than that, I like your concepts, very cool robots. Honestly I wish I could make ideas pop in my head like that. I believe you're getting better with your art and concepts. So keep up the good work man!

TrojanMan87 responds:

Thanks. I am trying. How do i go about getting a harder brush so far all i have found is overlay colordodge and stuff like that. as well as the opacity meter

I very much respect your artwork and the amount of detail you can put in; in under an hour! Really that's an amazing skill you have. But that's the thing, I understand it's a "speed paint" and you have huge landscapes that are beautifully illustrated, but my only concern about some, such as this one, is that it's empty. Don't get me wrong I love the scenery but this whole piece specifically would be nice if you added more racers, maybe someone crashed in the background...you get the point. I don't know if you thought about that and just stuck with a speed paint, but 42 minutes is fast and just spending a little more time on it making it a bit more "busy" would make this piece great. Overall you're and amazing artist keep up the good work man.

EchoCharlieDelta responds:

Most definitely, the time restriction was imposing; the racer took bulk of the time and I was following the rule of thirds on a wide shot, left me with very little for the landscape. The blur was overdone too, I painted rocks and mountains only to turn then into blurs of colour and just left it. Thanks for the compliments and CC, I definitely agree with you.

Just how...You are my idol, just my all-time favorite artist. Keep up the good work man.

GentlemanTrooper responds:

Wow! Thanks dude. :D
