Soo I've been caught up with school a lot lately, which is why I haven't posted any work. I'm starting to post my work and my School Portfolio will be posted on Behance every semester. So Hopefully I've shown some signs of improvement over the past couple of months. So that's about it for that...

So to anyone who cares: I was thinking about opening up something called "The Sketch Portal" on the art forum, just to display my sketches, and weird shit that I just randomly draw. It's not like much to be critiqued on, it's all just for fun really. I never said they were good sketches so beware. But anyone reading this, feel free to let me know if this is a good idea or not, I would appreciate either opinion. I might end up doing it anyways, but still make me feel a lil less lonely people.

P.S. I'm just gonna throw in a drawing I did on Adobe Illustrator that I worked on a few weeks back. I'll post the colored version when I'm not feeling lazy. Hope you guys will like it.

Personally, this looks really good.... REALLY good.
Anyway, that does sounds like a good idea, it'd give ya more... I dunno, popularity, I guess. More people'll see your kewl sketches, like this one.

Thanks man, although, this is was for an actual project, not necessarily a sketch. My actual sketches are more, i dunno, rougher than this haha. But thanks for agreeing with my idea. Once I get my junk together I'll start posting.

This is really cool, the only thing I don't like about it is how all the lines from her hair seem to run into everything else, but I suppose the colored version will separate that. Also, the back part of her hair looks like it's tangled or really frizzy, but I kind of like it that way. Anyways, everything is symmetrical which is awesome because that's a huge OCD of mine. How did you get everything to look so damn perfect and even on both sides? Hell, even on one side? You would be great at making children's coloring books, or even adult ones as well.

As for your idea, it sounds great. Will anyone be able to post their sketches there or just you? If it's just you, then you'd might as well just post them as blog entries or something, because if it's just for fun then making a whole forum thread seems pointless. However, it would be a great idea to make that thread and allow everyone to post their random sketches. It would be the place for people to go who aren't good at drawing, but want to post things they do anyways, just for fun. This way, they don't feel like they posted something they know isn't good on display for everyone to judge, and other people won't think they did it because they thought they were good or something.

Well, you have the freedom to do whatever you want on here so it's really your decision.

Thanks, but the "drawing" isn't as impressive as you might think. When I post up the colored version you'll get more details, but I might as well explain now. This was done in Adobe Illustrator this was for a project at school, and we were suppose to re-create/copy an art piece from a famous artist. This is an Art Nouvaeu style piece called "Donna Orechini" by Alphonse Mucha. So it's just merely a copy. No trace, just a somewhat close copy. So like I said, it's not as impressive as you might think, sorry for the confusion. But feel free to look at the original.

Thanks for the agreement, you know I was actually thinking the same thing, letting people post their sketches as well. If they want a serious critique they may have one, if not then just post for fun. I think this'll be very cool, so thank you for the suggestion. I believe I'll definitely do that now.

Sounds like a cool idea. What school are you going to If i may ask?

I go to The Art Institute of San Antonio. And thanks for the scout by the way (:

kewl and no problems just hope i dont screw anything up but so far I stayed scouted this long maybe there will be no repercussions besides your art is pretty bad ass.

I think you'll do fine bro. You've been doing great and I see your art improving a lot too. So I wouldn't worry too much. And thanks, really that means a lot.
